A review of Varsity Restaurant by Sean Dunne(Ireland) written on Sunday 6th of April 2003
During a 6 day tour of East Anglia with my wife and sister-in law we had lunch, quite by chance, in the Varsity at about 2pm on Sat 29thMarch. The girl who attended our table realised that we were visitors and, without being asked, volunteered information on what to see, how to get to tourist office etc etc. She even brought us local yellow pages so as we could look up accomodation. The meal which we had was the best received anywhere for the week , the price was reasonable and it topped off a memorable visit to Cambridge. There should be more waitresses like that..
