David Munsey started the business in Cambridge in June 1885, and since that time has had premises on Market Hill. After various changes in ownership D Munsey & Co was bought by Northern Goldsmiths and now trades as Goldsmiths Jewellers at 17 Market Hill. In 1985 when the business celebrated its centenary there was a brief article on its history published in the Cambridge Evening News, 24 June 1985..
