"Christmas music is awful"

A review of Maplin Electronics by Captain Caveman written on Sunday 13th of June 2004

I also am an employee of Maplin and would like to counteract the argument that it is a good idea to play christmas music, we obtained a far greater number of people in the shop the days we DIDN'T play christmas music, it is awful and repetative and the sooner that company directors realise this and stop dictating that in the middle of march the christmas tunes should be dug out the better. Christmas tunes should only be played on the 24th of Dec, not before and, since the shops don't open until after christmas, not after..
