"Building Society No Longer Accepts Coins"

A review of The Cambridge Building Society by John Lander written on Tuesday 1st of June 2004

The Grafton Centre Branch of the Cambridge Building Society would appear to no longer welcome coin deposits from would be investers. At least this was our experience on Sunday the 30th May 2004. There seems to be a change in policy but they hav,nt told anybody.

Has anyone else tried to pay in coins and be turned away?.
