A review of Bus Station - Stagecoach Cambus by Tess written on Tuesday 18th of May 2004
I recently needed to use Drummer Street bus station to get a bus to Histon. Being visually impaired I found it to be, what I call, V.I unfriendly. The time tables that were up were a little too high for me to see, even with my magnifier. Also there was no one around who I could ask. The bus drivers aren't always approachable.
When I finally got to talk to a bus driver I found that the bus and the bay for it had changed from Drummer Street to Emmanuel Street. This I also found not too V.I friendly. I wasn't sure what buses left from what bay and what numbers the bays were.
Please could something be done to make Drummer Street and Emmanuel Street more V.I friendly.
I would be happy to help with this..
