A review of Fifth Avenue by anoymous written on Saturday 15th of March 2003
I found fifth avenue, below the standard of club i would normally go to. But due to lack of night club, and life in camberidge town centre, there is not much choice. I find the bouncers very intollerable, when it comes to the customers, its a scenario where if one stays on the right side of bouncers its ok.
But in my case, i must have disgruntled one of them, and threw me out,, without allowing to pick my coat up, and man handeled me in a very unpleasent manner, which gave me some injury.
The drinks are over priced, as in most nightclubs and the speaker system is something to be disered, as they have not heard of acoustics in 5th avenue.
The dance floor is large incomparrison to most nightclubs in camberidge, but is too small for the number of people which they allow in. Maybe an external body needs to asses the crowd limitions of the venue. .
