A review of Loch Fyne Seafood Bar & Grill by Daffowd Entwistle written on Tuesday 30th of March 2004
I wasn't impressed by the food - I ordered tuna nicoise, which came without egg, capers etc. My friend ordered a poached haddock that was drowned in milk. Better was expected for the price.
Even though the decor is laid back, there is a pretentious ambiance to the place - after all, it is a LARGE restaurant, and so what you might loose in cosiness, you should gain in efficiency. Sadly not. The staff were friendly and polite, but we were served by 3 different waitresses.
All in all, ever so slightly grandiose..
