A review of All Bar One by Pete written on Sunday 1st of February 2004
Myself and three friends ate there yesterday. Well lets be correct, three friends ate while I watched. I had ordered what is called on the menu Ham Egg and Chips. When it arrived it was a thick piece of greasy gammon, two very hard eggs and a pile of very thin chips all piled on top of each other. When I sent it back I was challenged in a most embarrassing way by a very aggressive waitress, who was nearly shouting at me in the middle of a very crowded bar. In the end I £7.45 for nothing. One of the others in my party had a hot steak sandwich, a meagre amount of steak and a semi frozen bagguette. Needless to say I have drafted and sent a long letter of complaint to the owners, and will never set foot in an All Bar One again..
