Thanks for the comments from the ex-employee.

But the fact is that most things in the shop can be bought on the internet for quite a lot less. I realise why things are cheap on the 'net, and if I have the choice, I'd prefer to buy from a local shop (at some extra expense) but I've been to this shop and asked if they'll be stocking particular new equipment and they said no. In other music shops they'd be interested in keeping a customer, and order the stuff.

I think the shop is more to do with selling instuments to parents than providing a service to musicians..
