A review of The Regal by kenno written on Friday 14th of November 2003
ive been drinking in the regal since it opened, i think its a really good place , i havent got a clue what people are talking about saying the foods crap i thinks its really good, and the fact its cheap is a bonus. its good that its part of a pub chain to cos ive been to a fair few citys in the country and with a wetherspoons u alwasy know what ur gettting and the price and foods generally the same standard in the ragl as many other wetherspoons across the country. in a way it can be good theres no music, in the other big name pubs in the city u cant have a decent conversation the music drowns every thing out. although this can be a bit of a downfall bcos u can relax better with muisic and thats one reason y they loose costumers-the soloution, open a lloyds no.1 bar in cambridge there run wetherspoons so u get the same prices and u get music aswell..
