"Excellent service and food, also dog friendly."

Excellent service from very friendly staff.

The food is awsome, especially the home made pies. I recommend the steak, guineas and Stilton pie, absolutely delicious. Good range of inexpensive wines and beers makes for a very pleasant visit.

Two levels and a pavement area means there's plenty of room as well.

You are also welcome to bring your four legged furry family members in as well. So civilised being able to eat in doors with your pet instead of being shoved outside to a smelly smokers area in all weather's as some pubs do.

Their house dog, Meg, welcomes all and is good with other dogs.

Being at the top of Castle Hill, you probably won't have to push through crowds of tourists and is well worth the uphill climb to visit.

Thoroughly enjoy our visits to this pub, they make sure we want to return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommend you give it a try..
