I first visited Gee’s in 1972 to purchase a an electrical test meter, (analog of course in those days). For the next 25 years I was a customer and never once did I leave without my requested item. I had cause to visit the shop in a service capacity from 1976 to 1988 and it always amazed me. Every room in the building was full to the gunnels with boxes. Mr Gee was a short balding man, very polite and knowledgeable. Customers would ask for something and he’d dive into a box somewhere in the building and return in minutes to the counter with the item. Amazing! There was a young man always there too who I now assume was his son. I am now 67 and am glad to see the shop is still going strong..
