"Briliiant local shoe repair"

This is a great shop in my opinion. The couple who run it are lovely and they re-heel/repair shoes very reasonably. A slightly surreal example is that they recently mended a pair of my favourite Russell and Bromley boots where the upper had separated from the sole. I took them into Timpsons and they quoted me £100. "Absolutely not", I thought and dropped into Cavendish on the way home just in case it was cheaper. They quoted me under £20 and have done the most wonderful job. You can't tell there was ever any separation at all - I'm bowled over really. They have a lot of re-heeling business so you do have to wait a bit longer than usual but it's worth it to me - really nice local business. It sells Loakes shoes which are fantastic quality men's shoes - yet also has some much cheaper simpler designs and comfy shoes for older ladies too..
