A review of Royal Mail - Cambridge Sorting & Delivery Office by Viscount tenison written on Tuesday 28th of October 2014
I have a huge notice pinned to my front door saying please leave parcels on the doorstep because I am in nearly all of everyday. So what happens? The inevitable card through the door and I was actually at home at the time. It's one knock and they are gone. It is not as if the parcel needed to be signed for. They would say they are not allowed to because the parcel might be stolen, but if I put the notice up it is for a reason; I do not want to make the tedious journey across town and then queue for ages waiting to collect which is what happens. Let's hope the new privatised Royal Mail go bust and we can have proper service from couriers..
