"Aldi "Rude is normal""

A review of Aldi by Aldi shopper written on Wednesday 23rd of October 2013

I know business seems to be thriving for Aldi & the staff are always kept busy but reading the last review here where the customer was ordered not asked sounds very similar to an experience I had @ the Norton Heights store in Stoke on Trent today.

Having just come in from the rain outside I stopped for a moment to put my bags for life onto the trolley.....a middle aged woman was climbing up the shelves by the side of trays of bread on the floor, on seeing me I was told "I need all this area along here, can you move" she then glared when I said she would have to wait a minute "customer" I muttered as I walked away wondering what other business would treat their customers in such a rude manner, not Asda, Tesco Morrisons or even Lidl.......I must say most of the younger staff are always polite & happy but this woman I later found on one of the checkouts looking very flushed, I didn't want the hassle of complaining in store & for all I know she could be the manager but as far as I'm concerned & from reading the last complaint here I think they still have a lot to learn.
