"Unreasonable delivery timings"

I ordered a package from the US and Royal Mail tell me that it will deliver it in 2weeks with know indication of any timings. 2weeks later I get an Email telling me that they tried to deliver it at 5:34am but because no one answered the door because we were all sleeping; that they will charge me an extra £11.34 on top of the £15 that I already paid to have it sent here in the first place! Great job Royal Mail! Great job!.
