A review of P & R Coachworks Ltd by Wayne Parker written on Saturday 17th of August 2013
Had te bonnet of my car resprayed by P& R. After the first stone chip, the lacquer started to peel. I now have several chips, and each one is peeling. According to 3 other body shops, the paint was left to cure too long and the lacquer hasn't bonded correctly. After taking it back twice to P & R they refuse to accept there's an issue, blaming water based paint, my not repairing the stone chips in a timely manner, excessive mileage, and the shape of the car being prone to this kind of damage. Now seeking advice through trading standards, but don't believe they are registered with any trade associations..
