A review of The Panton Arms by Matt written on Tuesday 12th of March 2013
Atmosphere Good
Decor Very Good
Service Poor
Bad enough to spend time posting this review - beware! Ciabatta, fishfinger sandwich, ham, and burgers were all unavailable on Remembrance Sunday, yards from "The Homecoming" in Cambridge. "Tell him there's no VAT on food", said the grey faced chef stomping back to the kitchen as I requested an itemised receipt. Everything missing from the menu was available in nearby shops, but I left feeling it was my fault. If you're confused by the closure of so many potentially good pubs, please visit The Panton Arms "... and tell him it's 85p extra if they want french fries". Disgraceful..
