A review of Flying Pig by Pub spy written on Wednesday 29th of August 2012
Called in here and the old Globe and the Northern after several years away. This used to have such a big personality with the live music and meeting local celebrities, Chatty bar staff and a famous jukebox.
This really felt like come in drink up, don't speak to me, spend your money and keep to yourself.
In fact this whole of station road corner looks to have turned in to who can run an efficient pub in our trying times. When this starts to happen why doesn't some body try adding personality for once, it's free and can work wonders.
In fact what has happened to Cambridge. I walked a few extra miles just finding closed pubs.
spy.
