A review of Muir & Kerr by Mel Herring written on Monday 2nd of April 2012
When stepping through the door you feel like you’re part of a family, greeted with a smile and a cheery hello. Remembered from your previous visit, hot tea and coffee or a naughty glass of wine, helps make you feel special before anyone’s touched your hair. A hairdresser that listens to what you want and gives you results time after time. Weird and wonderful conversation, not your usual “are you going on holiday this year?”. Muir and Kerr, go the extra mile to make you feel like the most important person for the duration of your visit, from the wonderful head massage whilst you’re having your hair washed, to the attention to every detail during your haircut. I have visited both salons now for 5 years and have always walked out the door with a smile on my face and a bounce to my step. My hair could be described as ‘demanding’ but no matter what I ask for or what colour I want to change to, the result is always wonderful, a gem of a salon which I want to keep to myself but it is too good for that. .
