When I wrote the last review in 2008 I gave it 3 stars. Since then Ricky and Nicky Turner have taken over the reins, have renovated the 'tired' kitchen, and now produce excellent home cooked food. Sunday lunches (booking required) and a Pensioners Lunch on Wednesdays are especially popular.Ricky and Nicky have now made the Little Rose just what a warm village Pub should be - and I challenge anyone to produce a finer pint of Old Speckled Hen!

The Little Rose is now well worth a 5 Star rating..
