A review of Maharaja by Guest on 17.08.11 written on Wednesday 17th of August 2011
I think the concept of customer service has never touched these guys dictionary. The waiters were rude, plates were being thrown. After meal we a party of 18 asked for toothpick. We were given one toothpick!!! That is service.
The waiter it seemed had never smiled in his life. He was serving as he had just come from a funeral and he was being forced to serve. I have never come across any other offensive and rude waiter in my life.
The food was nice, but with the service of its kind we did not enjoy at all.
When asked for a manager, we were told very rudely that they did not have a manager, and if we were after service with a smile then we should go elsewhere. I have taken that advice, and we will never go there, and certainly go to the next restaurant on the same street, but never to these rude guys.
My advice is that if you enjoy being insulted after paying for your meal then this is the place for you, otherwise look elsewhere.
