A review of Nomads by Samuel Betz written on Friday 10th of December 2010
Walking towards the market square with a friend today, we decided to check out the Nomad store for the first time. As soon as we stepped into the tiny shop, we were greeted by a faint smell of incense, noticeable and fragrant, but not too potent. We followed the stairs down to the main shop, and were instantly amazed at the treasure trove of gorgeous asian and oriental arts and crafts. The staff member at the till was friendly and helpful, and the range of merchandise was of a very high quality. The items that caught my eye immediately were gorgeous hand carved figurines and reams of fine silk in every colour imaginable. Some of the finest items in the shop were very expensive, but the pricing was reasonable. This is a shop I will certainly be revisiting, and one in which I know I could very easily spend a lot of money.
In summary- a charming, cosy little gem of a shop with a breathtaking stock of gorgeous products..
