A review of The Green Dragon by Andas written on Friday 1st of October 2010
One of the oldest pubs in cambridge and thankfully it has retained all of the oak beams etc which make it a little bit special.
Food used to be fantastic but has gone down hill a little since Green King enforced their generic menu on the pub :-(
Staff and landlord are friendly as are the locals. As mentioned in a previous review the grass area opposite the pub is great for having a pint/meal.
If at all possible avoid Friday nights as the local travellers tend to take over half the pub. Not pleasant taking someone for a date and hearing nothing but foul mouth abuse throughout the evening..
