A review of Al Casbah by Chris written on Friday 17th of September 2010
Booked a table for two at 8pm for a Wednesday night. Turned up at 19:55, a two person table was given to the couple in front of us who had not booked. We were sat a table for four and orderd a drink on the understanding that we would be moved to another table. We were then srongly urged to order our food (luckly we had had plenty of time stood in the doorway to study the menu). Our starters arrived, and so had our time to move tables. Having relocated we finished our starters in relative peace. Our Mains arrived and my partner's mixed plate was one sausage down. My main was complete and very nice. Baklava and ice cream for desert, both nice. Time for the bill ('oh we don't take cards') que rainy walk down Mill Road to a cash point. By all means go to this restaurant, the food IS good, just bring a sense of humour,or go to Efes. .
