"No reciept no refund on own brands"

I experienced the same issue when i tried to exchange a tub of B@Q paint, i didn't want refund just exchanged and was shocked to be told no as i didn't have a receipt.Product was in prefect condition so could of been re sold and was still within it's current colour range, it's rediculous for genuine customers as i work for customer service in the biggest retail supermarket and even we see logic and common sense when dealing with geniune customers.Policy needs to be reveiwed!!!!Shopping with a more customer friendly outlet..
