A review of Browns Restaurant by Mrs Berry written on Monday 9th of August 2010
My dad is a chef so is hard to please. We chose Browns as we thought Sunday lunch would be a safe choice. Whilst the beef & Yorkshire pudding was nice, the veg was terrible. The veg had obviously been kept warm for hours. The roast potatoes were so dry we couldn't even cut them. The carrots were shriveled up. I was so disappointed. Rather disgusting that they think this is acceptable. Would never go back. We did complain, but the waiter did not care. I would expect this in a bhs canteen. Don't go!!!!.
