A review of Efes Restaurant by Dan and Marie written on Sunday 18th of July 2010
Despite some of the negative reviews on this site, my partner and I decided to try out Efes anyway. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, which was fresh and delicious. It tasted like genuine family cooked food, the kind a guest would be served in a Cypriot home. The prices are reasonable too - a main dish costs £10-15.
We were greeted in a friendly way and the service remained perfectly satisfactory for the entire duration of the meal.
We definitely recommend Efes - though as it is indeed a very small restaurant, it is probably best to go there off peak. We went there on a Sunday night..
