"HASLINGFIELD has a Pub - At Last!"

A review of The Little Rose by George Giller written on Wednesday 7th of July 2010

Since my last review of the ‘Little Rose’ in November 2008, I commented on the improvements that were then happening. A lot more has happened since. Various managers have come and gone, but the biggest change for the better is the change of tenancy.

The overall tenancy has been taken over by Niki and Ricky Turner, previously at The Crown in Burwell, where they were voted ‘The Best New Landlords in East Anglia’ by Greene King. They have re-furbished the kitchen at the Little Rose and now produce excellent, value for money, home cooked food, including Pensioners, and Children’s menus. Bar snacks are always available. Further refurbishments to the bar area are in hand.

I am a bitter drinker, and I now drink beer as it should be. Friends of mine, who drink that other stuff, comment on how good their drinks are – I believe them, but can only take their word for it!

HASLINGFIELD now has a Pub worthy of the name – and if you are ever in the area , it’s well worth a visit.

The Pub sign can be seen from the road and the Pub itself, with ample parking space, is only 30 yards away.
