The answer machine at Royal Mail Henley Road is there to leave your details to arrange a redelivery.

When it is too busy to answer, which is most of the time. The messages are taken down at the end of the day and the packets are put out for redelivery, its that simple!

Most of the time there are customers calling up about things that have nothing to do with packet redeliveries and things this part of the office don't deal with, that is one of the reasons it is done like this.

All you need to do is clearly leave your name, address, postcode, where and when you want you item redelivered (not your whole life story, we don't need to know why you couldn't be bothered to get out of bed, or you were in the bathroom or in the garden) - its that simple! (but people still have trouble with this simple instruction).
