"The black horse has definately bolted !!!"

I recently went for dinner with my girlfriend at the "all new and refurbished black horse pub" and what a mistake that was ! The pub seems to have lost its atmosphere and charm because of referbishment and on a saturday night you would have thought it would have been alive with people, It was very quiet and empty "A BAD SIGN IN HINDSIGHT"

The menu was vastly over priced and limited in variety , The food was cold and had to be remade and what you did get once it was cooked was minimal , Personaly i prefered the black horse under the previous management ok it was very much bar meals but they did alot better in variety, It was good old fashioned pub grub ie scampi and chips, bangers and mash with onion gravy which i personaly prefer with a pint . What a shame its ended up like this ! .
