A review of Teri-Aki Restaurant & Bar by Michael written on Thursday 8th of April 2010
My friend and I attended Teri-Aki two weeks ago. Initially we were shown to our table but then left for about half an hour before someone served us. There was a pad on the table, but we were not made aware that this was used for ordering. After ordering the food it came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately one of the main courses was missing. The waitress did not speak very good English and another had to be called for me to explain the problem. They apologised and ordered the other main course for me. This then took forty minutes to arrive by which point my friend had finished his food and I had lost my hunger. I advised the staff that I no longer wanted the dish and that I felt we should be compensated for the poor service. The manager was very sharp with me saying she would not charge for the late dish but this was all she could do. She then brought the receipt over, which still had the charge for dish brought out late on it. I took it back to say that this was not on and that I would be telling friends about the experience, She retorted with "you can tell whoever you want". She did then knock the price of one beer and the late dish off the reciept. I will never eat there again unless there is a change of management..
