A review of The Rosemary Branch by John Techno written on Thursday 8th of April 2010
I popped into the Rosemary Branch yesterday for a pint - first impressions were a bit "Hmm..." as pubs on industrial estates tend to underwhelm.
However, despite a somewhat plain appearance, it's really rather a pleasant pub. The new management are friendly, as was the young lady serving behind the bar and the beer was pleasantly cold. There was a large screen showing football, but it's easy to escape from if footie doesn't appeal because the pub has a large TV-free area to the rear.
It's a bit too out of the way to become my local, but I'll definitely stop by for a pint next time I'm passing. This is a pub with a lot of potential, and I think it's going to be realised..
