A review of The Navigator by Alan wood written on Thursday 11th of March 2010
Having heard good comments about the navigator and its thai food i left there quite dissapointed, myself and a friend have been to thailand and when seeing what looked like thai chefs we were very much looking forward to trying out the food.We looked at the menu and decided we would share a thai platter for a starter, usually a thai platter is thai fish cakes, chicken satays, prawn toast? so we were very confused when a plate came out and it was everything on there covered in batter???? we both mentioned it should of been called the batter platter!!We decided to give it ago as it had cost us over £10 and were not happy at all as inside the batter was 1 mushroom then another was 1 carrot then a piece of broccoli???? in my opinion thats very lazy cooking and to be honest not what you expect for over £10!!! batterd veg??? I then ordered a green thai curry and again not very nice,i had more green beans and lumps of chillies than chicken, over all was very dissapointed and will not be returning to the navigator..
