"Terrible Service from Repairers"

I would like to say that Richer Sounds are excellent. When our TV went wrong they loaned me a brand new 26" TV whilst ours was in for repair. As it was a 36" TV we had to deal direct with the repair company. After contacting them they stated they were able to attend in 6 days time to collect it. As we had snow at the time I was not surprised when they phoned to say they were unable to collect on the day concerned and they finally arrived 7 days after the initial call. The engineer knew exactly what was wrong with it and stated it would be ready in 5 to 7 days. On the 7th day I contacted them. The call taker spoke to the engineer and I was informed my TV was being tested in the workshop before being returned. When I mentioned the 5 to 7 days I was informed this was 5 to 7 working days. After another 4 days I contacted them again. This time I was informed that the part they needed had now been ordered from the manufacturer. What!!!! Hold on, I was told that it was on test before being returned. I established that I was speaking to the same person as before and he just stated he could only tell me what his engineer had said. When I asked to speak to the engineer this of course was not possible. I asked who was telling lies which of course didn't go down too well. I phoned again 4 days later to be told the part was still on order. We finally got the TV back 4 weeks and 1 day later. Just to conclude on what I think was a very shoddy service the TV was totally covered in dust and had to be cleaned before use. It certainly never went to them in that condition..
