A review of Cambridge City Council - Refuse Collection & Store Yard by George Ross written on Friday 6th of November 2009
The bin collection service to all intents and purposes take the bins and boxes from the sheds and once emptied return them to the shed.
but chaos reigns when a tenant over the months puts the bins outside the shed,, then decides to take the bins to a point away from the shed.
Then this same tenent goes off for two or three weeks,, and all ++++ breaks loose.
The binmen are now 'used to collecting from a point away from the bin shed' and no longer come to it.
its now chaos!!!!.
You have a time when the bins no longer get emptied and everybody screams "bin men ,they're useless".
[The fault! certainly not the bin men....]
A scenario created by a tenant who's interfering causes havoc in a tried and well tested system.
----------------------------------------------------
Let bin men do their job "and the system will work perfectly". .
