A review of Bakers Oven by James Skeggs written on Wednesday 23rd of July 2003
I ordered a 'Latte Coffee' which came in a plastic 4" cup. 2" coffee the rest froth. It tasted of dish water. It cost me £1.20p.
I also ordered a bacon sandwich. It cost £2.05. Between 2 slices of bread were (I estimate) 1 and a half rashers of bacon. It covered no more than a third of the bread. And half of that was fat!
'Bakers Oven' used to be cheap and cheerful. It has given itself a posh look and put up the prices.
