"Great food, but strange layout"

A review of Rainbow Café by Pat written on Wednesday 16th of July 2003

I am surpised there are not more vegetarian restaurants in Cambridge, and welcome the proprietors of Rainbow for taking the initiative.

Rainbow have a good selection of dishes and serve delicious food. I am particularly fond of their soups.

My only reservation about the place is the pokey dingy setting. Unfortunately the cellar in which the restaurant is based is not small and an awkward shape. Some of the tables are consequently cramped, particularly near the stairs, and one feels less at ease than in a more spacous environment. .
