"Great food - but pints a bit short"

A review of The Plough by Bill written on Sunday 2nd of August 2009

I can honestly say that I have never experienced bad or unsatisfactory food in the Plough; it's always well-prepared and interesting. The beers too are generally pretty good. But why oh why do I have to ask every time I get my pint for it to be topped-up to a full measure ? Couldn't the bar staff just give customers a proper pint in the first place, without causing this unneccessary embarassment ?.
