A review of B & Q by Sam written on Friday 31st of July 2009
I find your review very offensive to say the least. can I assume you work on the seasonal department? I am guessing the answer is yes which is propably why the member of staff on the service desk called you.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the service desk there to greet customers and to try and sort out their problems? Also, arn't the people who work on the service desk supposed to call an "expert" in
from the specific department to deal with each customer?
I am sure that even the most exceptional people who I have met on B & Q service desks cannot be expected to know every department inside out. I am also certain that if they spent a long time with each customer trying to sort out their problems, then they would probably only be able to serve around five customers a day. Their job is not an easy one and they deal with a vast variety of tasks every single day. I am guessing that, if you couldn't even be bothered to talk to one customer graciously, then you certainly would not be able to reach the standard of a Service Desk Operative. .
