"Banning kids in the granta?"

I loved the granta during my stay in Cambridge last year, so I decided to take my nephew there for lunch but I won't be able to. I don't understand why kids should be banned. Kids can be as noisy and bad-behavioured as adults. The granta used to be my favourite pub, but it is no more..
