A review of Bus Station - Stagecoach Cambus by Chris Impington written on Tuesday 14th of July 2009
Why are the taxis at Cambridge station allowed to delay all of the traffic trying to get to and from the station by ensuring that none of the buses can get past thus ensuring that that in turn this also delays more buses, taxis and car drivers. What does BTP do nothing but watch. Are you aware that the zebra crossing in front of the station does not give pedestrians right of way or fare over cars as it does not have a B&W flashing bollard. Why dont the buses get timed to meet morning peak hour departures and evening arrivals. Why is there only one entrance to the station car park thus ensuring prolonged ques and tailbacks why not a second exit onto Devonshire road or even Mill Rd under the railway bridge. With all that redundant land around the station why during Mon-Friday is the parking so poor what has the County Council done to help commuters. Answers on the back of a fag packet. .
