It may be ridiculous to you Ren but it is also very good customer relations. I have seen many returns but most of them, nowerdays, are only accepted when the reason for the return is obvious.

I also know that in some branches, if a product is not ranged, then that branch will not accept a return (unless of course it is totally faulty and is covered by the B & Q guarantee)

Having said all this, I do agree that some customers take the mickey because of B & Q's exceptionally generous returns policy.

Have you noticed though that most people who return goods actually buy more before they leave the store after they are given their exchange?? Leads to Good business I think!!
