Thanks for your answer to my worktop problem. In my post, re worktop, I didn't explain myself very clearly. When I said they would only sell it to me if they installed it that only applied if they installed the WHOLE kitchen. I would quite happily let their installer fit the worktop for me but B&Q wont do that?
By the way the staff in my local B&Q (Hull) have mostly been very courteous and helpful. I have worked in retail myself so know how upset and emotional customers can be when things go wrong, and understand fully the need for patience and calmness when faced with this. On the whole most customers can be dealt with reasonably when a problem occurs, but you do get the exception to the rule. As for my worktop I will now look elsewhere.
