This product is extremely fragile and needs specific tools to cut it and fit it, the B&Q installers are individually trained by the manufacturer to install these worktops. So once delivered also a challenge and done by the manufacturer in specifically designed lorries, it would I suggest be very very likely that you would not be able to handle these and fit them without it breaking/cracking etc. So actually this is a fit only product because of these factors. B&Q are actually looking after you by insisting this, the alternative is they sell it to you, you break it, they charge you again for replacement, you break it and it would go on and on costing you thousands.

Believe me B&Q test, research, use the product before putting in front of the customer, so its not just a ploy to get you to use their services it genuinely is a fragile product before being secured, now if the installer breaks it, guess what they replace it with no cost to you, thats good service isnt it??.
