"This is becoming "All GREEK" to me !!!"

A review of Varsity Restaurant by Ian S. written on Monday 3rd of November 2008

Having been,over the past 15yrs or so (in the winter at least) a "fairlie regular" @ The Varsity ;my involvement going back past "Charlie's Son" to Charlie himself ,and,before that,to dear old "Roy",I have become a little puzzled,to say the least,at what seems to me,after all this time,to be an onset of quite un-favourable reviews (seemingly for the first time for my eyes at least).Up till now,my own experience has not only been a very favourable one,but a brilliantly homely,lovely (although FRENETIC on a Sat.night !!!) and very "Tasty" and extremely "GOOD VALUE" one.I have been in for around 10 months : WHAT HAS GONE WRONG ??? I am hoping,IF any of the "downside" I,m reading is true,that,the present ownership WILL take-note AND act accordingly.I feel quite sad @ the moment and,hope that this Sat's visit will at least clarify the situation;hopefully FOR THE BEST. !!!
