A review of Varsity Restaurant by Greggles written on Friday 24th of October 2008
I haven't been to Australia or Japan, but I've always wanted to.
Nevertheless, this isn't the place for my travel wishes, so instead I'll talk about the Varsity Restaurant in Cambridge, Cambridgecestershire.
I haven't actually been there myself, and nor has anyone I've met or pretend to have met, but the important thing is that they serve food.
Food is often underrated by those who don't like food (Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, the dead, etc), but I think that it's not only very tasty, but also very tasty.
That said, the food at Varsity was a different fish kettle altogether.
Firstly, the waitress had a slightly lop-sided face which reminded me of Jonathan King and subsequently ruined my cow sandwich.
Then there was the drinks menu. Wine is all very well and good and well and good, but would it really hurt to make Tizer available?
Also there was the salad - many different colours and shapes, but it was clearly healthy and made Lenni cry.
In short, I haven't been.
Jam rating: raspberry..
