A review of The Kingston Arms by Andrew written on Tuesday 23rd of September 2008
A late summer evening in the Kingston's bijou beer garden is delightful enough, but the plaice in brown butter sauce (with chips and salad) was one of the best-cooked fish dishes I have ever had. Superb - and for under £10! Order the bread and butter too: for one pound you get large hunks of fresh, tasty bread. The puddings too (chocolate fondant with cream for me this time) are delicious.
Staff are friendly, the service prompt and efficient. This place knocks spots off most Cambridge restaurants. Excellent value and a fine array of beers and wines to boot..
