A review of The Fort St George by Jen McCarthy written on Tuesday 5th of August 2008
Great food really enjoyed it all three courses, good company always helps, wine ok but drank too much.. The duck as a starter was great and the salmon and brie fishcakes excellent, the tirumisu just melted in the mouth. Staff friendly landlord runs a good ship, shame the weather wasn't warmer so we could of enjoyed the view but then Greene King can't control that. Great place to go and just catch up without overpowering music and leeches, suited our girlie nite down to the ground. Definitely enjoyed it and will use it as a meeting place for business and/or pleasure!!!
