A review of Quinns Irish Pub by Michael O Shea written on Sunday 6th of July 2008
I was in Cambridge for another reason, but thought as the senior munster football final between Cork & Kerry was on, I would visit an Irish pub to watch it. Only to be offered Wimbledon, as there was 3 adults in total watching this. Although I could watch the match once Wimbledon had finished! Which would have been long after the Kerry V Cork match had finished.
As is usual with these type of fake Irish pubs they have no connection with Ireland except a few bits of Irish trinkets scattered around the bar, and which is simply there to pull in any gullible visitors to the area such as me.
If you want an Irish experience this is not it, and although I apologise for not giving an alternative.
This pub is about as Irish as the Brotish Crown Jewels.
